White Widow is a powerful energizing hybrid strain first produced in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds in the 1990s. It is a cross between a Brazilian sativa and a resin-heavy South Indian indica. White Widow is named after its trichome covered white buds laced with crystal resin. The structure of the bud is more sativa than indica, with a fluffy texture that can be easily broken up. It is known for having a stinging, ammonia-like scent with some hints of earthy pine. It sealed its reputation by winning an early High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995 and several awards since.
Terpens: Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Limonene
Using this strain works best for boosting energy levels, mood, and focus. Some people may experience a strong couchlock though. It is said to be effective to relieve symptoms of depression, chronic pain and insomnia, and to reduce tension and stress. White Widow can be grown from seed or from clone, and it flowers in about 60 days indoors. It is also mold-resistant making outdoor cultivation easier.
